I started baking when I was a little girl. I loved being in the kitchen with my parents watching them create the most amazing things. I continued my love for new recipes all throughout college, often making homemade bread, cookies, cakes, etc., for my roommates, as well as candies. When I entered the real world, it became harder and harder for me to find the time to bake. I needed to bake... I wanted to bake... and with a full time job, loving husband and 5 children, their schedules & a new puppy, baking became a necessity to keep my own sanity! Creating in the kitchen keeps me grounded! So, with the encouragement from my family, Capitol Cupcake Co., LLC was created.
